Eldas residents call on government to maintain and increase NG-CDF funds

Residents of Eldas Constituency have called on the government to continue funding the National Government Constituencies Development Fund (NG-CDF) and to increase its allocation.

They were speaking during a public engagement on the proposed Constitution of Kenya (Amendment) Bill No. 4 of 2025. Today was the third and final day of the nationwide public participation exercise on the legislative proposal.

The Constituents observed that the fund is important for development at the local level, pointing out that it has greatly improved education and infrastructure in the area.

The community urged the government to strengthen the fund so that more projects can be completed to benefit the people.
