Ms. Sorobit previously worked at the Law Society of Kenya, Jubilee Party, Judges & Magistrates Vetting Board, and the 2016 IEBC Selection Panel.

Members assessed her suitability to uphold integrity and leadership with the Chairperson, Hon. George Murugara asking, "Seeing that you have associations with political parties, how does your experience in the electoral processes make you suitable for this position."
