In Pictures: Wajir County MP Hon. Fatuma Abdi Jehow has been elected unopposed as the Vice-Chairperson of the Departmental Committee on Lands. 

Hon. Jehow will deputize Committee Chairperson Hon. Joash Nyamoko (North Mugirango), who has held the person since the onset of the 13th Parliament in August 2022. In her acceptance speech, Hon. Jehow thanked the Committee Members and pledged to work closely with them to deliver on the mandate of the Committee. The Committee also welcomed new Members, including the incoming vice-chairperson and the Bahati MP, Hon. Mrembo Irene Njoki.
