Article 221 of the Constitution, section 39(2) of the Public Finance Management Act Cap 412A, and Standing Order 235(5) of the House mandates the Budget and Appropriations Committee (BAC) to discuss and review the estimates of revenue and expenditure, and table a report to the House for consideration and adoption.

The Liaison Committee will also be tasked with the consideration of Supplementary Estimates II for the 2025/26 financial year.
โSimilarly, to ensure continuity of business of the House, the Liaison Committee will also process the Supplementary Estimates II for the 2025/26 financial yearโ further directed the Speaker.
