Hon. Fatuma Zainab Mohammed (Migori) and Hon. Rahim Abdul Dawood (North Imenti) have retained their positions as Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson, respectively, following an unopposed election.

Hon. Samuel Atandi and Hon. (Dr.) Robert Pukose declared the Budget and Appropriations Committee Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson unopposed

Butere MP Hon. Nicholas Scott Tindi Mwale has been elected Chairperson of the National Assembly’s Public Accounts Committee (PAC), defeating his closest challenger, Rarieda MP Hon. (Dr.) Paul Otiende Amollo.

Hon. Lydia Haika (Taita Taveta) and Hon. Simon Kingara (Ruiru) have been re-elected unopposed as Chairperson and Vice Chairperson, respectively, of the Diaspora Affairs and Migrant Workers Committee.

The two Legislators, who previously held the same positions, will continue to steer the 15-member Committee.
